Salman Khan threat letter case: ‘Lawrence Bishnoi gang members visited Mumbai from Rajasthan to drop letter’
Salman Khan threat letter case: Sources told Mirror Now that Salman Khan was saved as he had to attend a public function on the day when the attack was to take place. Due to this, a Mumbai Police escort was at his gate unnerving the shooter.
Further details have emerged in connection with Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s threat letter case. Sources said that three gangsters from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had visited Mumbai from Rajasthan to drop the threat letter.
Shooter Sourabh Mahakal, who was arrested by Pune police in connection with Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, claims that he met three criminals from Bishnoi gang in Mumbai.
Mahakal alias Siddhesh Kamble has allegedly made the revelation during interrogation by police. He was questioned by Mumbai Police’s crime branch on Thursday.
A report in PTI said that Mahakal was also grilled by Special Cell of Delhi Police in connection with singer Sidhu Moosewala’s murder.
The group in question wanted Mahakal to place the threat letter. However, Mahakal reiterated that he didn’t place the threat letter.
“During the entire episode, it didn’t come out that Salman Khan was saved by a whisker, that a sharpshooter with a small-bore pistol in a hockey stick was almost at his gates,” said Nikunj Garg, Editor, Mirror Now.
“Actually, Lawrence Bishnoi gang had dispatched a sharpshooter with a modified hockey stick. Salman actually got saved by a whisker. The shooters had done a recce about the actor’s schedule, especially in the morning when he is usually unprotected and vulnerable,” Mirror Now Editor further said.
Earlier, Lawrence Bishnoi, when questioned by the Delhi Police, claimed that he was not involved in the threat letter case of Salman Khan.
“As luck would have it, Salman Khan had to attend a public function and due to this a Mumbai Police escort was at his gate. This unnerved the sharpshooter and he decided to cancel the possible attack on the actor,” sources told Mirror Now.
