Dilip Joshi is a very popular actor from Porbandar, Gujrat, India. He mostly works in the television serials and Indian films. He was born into the brahmin family of Gujrat, India. She completed his schooling from the hometown and then did graduation from Mumbai.
Dilip was very interested in arts like acting and speaking since childhood. He started acting in child plays at the age of 12 years. During college, Dilip was a part of a college theater group and received INT’s best actor award twice.
In 1989, Dilip Joshi got his first breakthrough with the role of Ramu in Salman Khan starer movie Maine Pyaar Kiya. Next, he featured in the hit films like Ham Aapke Hai Kaun, Khiladi 420, Dil Tumhara Hai, and many more.

Dilip made his first television debut with the serial Hum Panchi Ek Dal Ke. Next, he did important roles in the serials like Hum Sab Ek Hain, Subh Mangal Savdhan and Agadam, Bagdam, Tigdam, and Meri Biwi Wonderful.

Dilip Joshi was born and brought up in the Gujarati brahmin family. He attended the local school in his home town. He got enrolled in Wilson’s College Mumbai and then moved to Narsee Munjee Commerce College. Dilip completed his graduation in Bachelor of Commerce.
Dilip was very enthusiastic about acting since boyhood. He started acting in child plays at the age of 12 years. He joined the theater academy of Namdev Lahute. His first childhood was “Aie Ranchood Rangeela” and used to be a statue in that drama.
During college, Dilip Joshi used to be a part of college plays and theater groups. While college, he got Indian National Theater’s Best Actor Award twice. He received awards for the plays which are directed by Raju Joshi and Niraj Vora.
He did acting in various theater plays but never had a thought to pursue a full time acting career. In 1988. real Tarak Mehta converted a Marathi language drama into Gujrati, titled ‘Sakha Sahiyara‘ which became very hit. He got a role in it and did more than 300 shows of ‘Sakha Sahuyara’.

Dilip Joshi made his first acting debut in the film Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya and played the very small role of Ramu in it. He became a part of the Gujarati film Hu Hunshi Hunshilal in 1992. Dilip became a part of a famous movie Hum Aapke Hai Kaun.

Next, he did acting in the television serial Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Voh and played the role of Vasu. In 1997, Dilip Joshi starred in the serials like Kya Baat Hai, Daal Mein Kaala, Kora Kagaz, and Do Aur Do Paanch.
